## New Features, Enhancements, and Behavior Changes

This section describes new features, enhancements, and behavior changes introduced in the Onyx FHM in this release.

### Fronthaul Multiplexer Equipment

The 5G Onyx Network architecture now supports the Fronthaul Multiplexer (FHM) equipment, which manages the fronthaul connections between the Onyx Edge and multiple Radio Units (RUs). The FHM helps expand coverage by allowing multiple RUs to operate as part of the same cell.

Onyx Portal Administrator users can add, edit, and delete FHM equipment in their 5G networks. For more information, refer to the *5G Onyx Portal Operations Guide*.
