# Equipment Connections

{% hint style="info" %}
**NOTE:** Complete all internal One-Box case connections prior to applying AC power to the kit. If all prerequisites have been met, the system should appear on your Onyx Portal network within 10 minutes. If this does not occur, verify all prerequisites, or contact GXC Customer Service for further assistance.
{% endhint %}

Refer to the following figure to make the required connections.

{% hint style="warning" %}
**CAUTION:** Insert the power connection with the flat side of the barrel facing up. When inserted fully, an audible “click” should be heard indicating the connector is locked in place.
{% endhint %}

{% hint style="warning" %}
**CAUTION:** When removing the power connection, only remove it by firmly grasping the barrel portion of the connector. This will disengage the locking mechanism allowing it to be safely removed.
{% endhint %}

Apply AC power by connecting the AC-DC power to a suitable AC outlet. The Mobile Kit Power LED, Gateway Power, and Askey gNB LED should illuminate as shown below.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://docs.gxc.io/hw/5g/5g-network-mobile-kits/one-box-solution-gxc-5g-mobile-kit/one-box-quick-start-guide/equipment-connections.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
